Holiday Matching Campaign 2023

Holiday Matching Campaign 2023

By Vivian in Donation on November 27, 2023

From December 1st until December 31st, 2023, Peterson is matching donations up to $10,000! This marks the eighth consecutive year that Peterson has generously agreed to match donations during the holiday season to the Richmond Food Bank Society. We are very grateful for this amazing donation matching initiative that doubles the impact of donations for our neighbours in need.

You can make donations easily and securely online through the Canada Helps platform. You can even dedicate your donation in honour of someone special as a memorable holiday gift! Please be sure to write “Peterson” in the “Message for Richmond Food Bank Society” box, so we can track the donations and thank our donor accordingly. We are a registered charity and can provide a tax receipt for donations of $20 or more.

Other ways to donate:

  • By e-transfer to treasurer@richmondfoodbank.org
  • Mail a cheque made out to the Richmond Food Bank to #100-5800 Cedarbridge Way, Richmond, BC, V6X 2A7
  • Over the phone by credit card 604-271-5609

Thank you for your generous donations of funds, which helps us provide nutritious food to over 2,800 people each week. We need your help, more than ever, as we continue to serve a record number of people directly affected by the rising food costs and high cost of living.

For every $1 donated, we can give out almost $7 worth of food (based on 2022 data). Donations of funds allow us to procure what is needed most, optimizing our storage space and our use of human resources. This gives your donations a bigger and more immediate impact.

Your generosity means so much and we are grateful to each and every one of our donors regardless of the size or type of gift (time, funds, or resources). Thank you, Peterson, for your generous support of our neighbours in need and for encouraging the spirit of giving in our generous community!
