Want to raise funds for the Richmond Food Bank? Start your own peer-to peer online fundraiser and get your friends and family involved! The Food Banks BC Virtual Food Drive platform is a fun and easy way to encourage monetary donations, which in turn allows us to purchase our most needed items. Keep reading to learn how to host your own online fundraiser using the Food Banks BC Virtual Food Drive platform.
To create your own fundraiser, click the “Register Now” button on this page. Select the Richmond Food Bank from the dropdown bar and then create an account. You can either sign up as an individual (i.e. birthday fundraiser) or an organization (i.e. company, school club). You can also join the Richmond Food Bank team by selecting “Join a Team” and entering Richmond Food Bank in the page following.
If you would like to make a donation to the Richmond Food Bank’s Virtual Food Drive directly, you can do so through our Virtual Food Drive page.
Online donations are tax-deductible and you will receive an automated tax receipt from Food Banks BC. Please check your email inbox or spam folder once your donation is successfully processed. Although the tax receipt is issued from Food Banks BC, donations will be directed to the Richmond Food Bank or the food bank of your choice.
