BC Thanksgiving Food Drive

Once again we are gearing up for the annual BC Thanksgiving Food Drive taking place from September 15th to the 20th. The BCTFD is a province wide initiative that helps feed thousands of needy neighbours across BC who rely on food banks for their basic nutritional needs. Last year they collected more than 450,000 pounds of food from nearly 50 communities one of them being Richmond. As in the past, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is sponsoring this year’s BC Thanksgiving Food Drive in Richmond. We are grateful for all their efforts in stocking up our food supplies just in time for the busy holiday season.
Get involved in this province wide initiative and help bring hope this Thanksgiving season to families within your neighbourhood with your kind donations. Volunteers will be going door to door distributing flyers starting the 15th of September and collecting donated food on morning of the 20th.
