Thank you Desert Life Streams
By Keith Yee in Donation on June 13, 2014
On Saturday 7 June 2014 from 1 pm to 3 pm, we were fortunate to host a group of 11 members of the Desert Life Streams Church congregation. They mopped floors, cleaned freezers, power-washed milk crates, washed recycling bins, setup bulletin boards, and more.
Regular cleaning of our facilities is crucial to keeping the food we have safe and the people we serve healthy. Many of the people we serve struggle with health conditions that would be exacerbated by food-borne illnesses. We are very grateful for the many volunteer groups and regular volunteers who work hard every week to keep our warehouse clean and our food product safe.
If you have a group of people interested in volunteering at the Richmond Food Bank, please contact us.
Thank you Desert Life Streams Church for your hard work cleaning our warehouse- it looks great!
