Grocery Distribution – Modified in response to COVID-19 | Richmond Food Bank Society

Need help? We’re here for you. First time clients, please visit this page to register to receive food assistance.

Our main location is #100 5800 Cedarbridge Way. You or a member of your household can pick up food one time per calendar week, any time Monday through Thursday or Saturday, 10am – 3pm. No appointment needed.

Express service is available at 5800 Cedarbridge Way during regular grocery distribution times.

West Richmond Location: Another option is to pick up your weekly grocery hamper on Monday between 3:30-5pm at Francis Road and No 1 Road at the parking lot near Hugh Boyd secondary. You can pick up by car (drive through option) or on foot.

East Richmond Location: You can also pick up your weekly grocery hamper on Tuesday between 3:30pm and 5pm sharp from Peace Mennonite Church at 11571 Daniels Road.

As part of our response to COVID-19, our Thursday evening grocery distribution, and our Saturday off-site grocery distribution depot at Richmond Baptist Church are closed until it is safe to re-open them. We have suspended our regular choice-based grocery distribution program to allow for necessary physical distancing; Instead of coming inside the food bank to choose your foods, clients will be served at the door one at a time.

Want to help? As a registered charity that is not government-run or government-funded, we rely on the generosity of the community. Please see this page on how you can help us provide grocery assistance and meal programs to more than 2200 people each week. Thank you!
