Volunteers are the heart of our organization. Their gift of time helps us in furthering our mission and to bring hope to our neighbours in need. Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills, make new friends, gain academic credit, and, to quote RFB volunteer Ken “give back to the community and feel good about it at the same time.”
- collect, sort, pack, and distribute donated food;
- drive our forklift and organize our warehouse;
- represent us at community events;
- provide outreach and information to our clients; serve as directors;
- much, much more
Last year alone, volunteers gave over 30 000 hours of their time to the Richmond Food Bank.
If you want to join our team and help more than 1400 Richmond residents in need each week, please fill out this form.
