2020 Holiday Donation Matching Campaign with Peterson Real Estate!

From December 1st until December 31st 2020, Peterson is matching donations up to $10,000! This marks the fifth consecutive year that Peterson has generously agreed to match donations during the holiday season to the Richmond Food Bank Society. We are very grateful for this amazing donation matching initiative that doubles the impact of donations for our neighbours in need.
You can make donations easily and securely online. You can even dedicate your donation in honour of someone special as a memorable holiday gift! Please be sure to write “Peterson” in the “Message for Richmond Food Bank Society” box so we can track the donation.

The pandemic has made it harder for Canadians to put food on the table. In 2020, we’ve extended our hours of operation for those in need, expanded our delivery program, added “express” pickup and drive-through options, and are adapting constantly to protect our volunteers’ and community members’ health and safety.
This year especially, we encourage and celebrate giving in the safest and most effective way possible. Thank you for your generous donations of funds, which let us provide nutritious food – including fresh vegetables and fruits, protein-rich foods, and high-quality necessities – to over 2,000 people each week.
Your dollar goes further than you may realize. For every $1 donated, we can give out almost $6 worth of food (based on 2019 data). Donations of funds allow us to procure what is needed most, optimizing our storage space and our use of human resources. This gives your donations a bigger and more immediate impact.
