RFB Volunteer Tea & Cake Social 2018

We had a lovely time at our annual Tea & Cake Social on Monday 19 February 2018!

More than 60 RFB volunteers and their guests enjoyed tea, cake, and camaraderie. Eight different teas were available, including our traditional “mystery tea” (which was Apricot Black Tea this year) which, as per RFB tradition, was not successfully identified by any party-goer.

Volunteers are essential to our services- we quite simply couldn’t serve the 2200 people we serve each week without the hard work of our 230 weekly volunteers.  We hold four volunteer appreciation events every year, of which the Tea & Cake social is one.  We also hold monthly volunteer social events to build the bonds between our volunteers.
