There are benefits to filing your taxes even if you don’t have income to report.

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) administers many benefits, including the GST/HST rebate, the Canada Child Tax Benefit, and the Universal Child Care Benefit.  However, you need to file your taxes to receive these benefits.

If you need help in filing your taxes, there are several free community services that serve low-income Richmond residents.  Please visit the Richmond Poverty Response Committee’s website for more information.  If you are looking for free, CRA-certified tax filing software, please visit the CRA’s website for a list of software programs.
